Uranus: Harnessing Disruption for Powerful Transformation

We all go through cycles of change and some of this comes from the planetary influences that are happening to us. It may not be that obvious as some planets will be slow, fast, or subtle. Uranus is not subtle - it is like a lightening rod striking the soul. It is the higher octave of the planet Mercury.

What does that mean do you ask?

Mercury — Lower Octave

In 2018, Uranus entered into the area of my chart that represents career and how I am perceived in the public. It aspected a very prominant point and as soon as it hit that degree - I broke my shoulder! I was on a banana boat in the sea and a massive wave came over and I was thrown off into the Ecuador sea and injured. Yes, I had just been to Machu Picchu....thinking I was living a life of fun and travel.

This was a big turning point in my life, for years and years, I have been searching and looking for my purpose. What role should I do that will fulfil my soul?

On Monday 7 July 2025 at 8.47am Uranus turned and rolled into Gemini for the first time in years and years. It's been in Taurus for the last seven years, causing some interesting issues both to the collective and to us on an individual level. So as a taster he is going into Gemini where he stays until early September, the 6th to be precise... He will go back into Taurus and say his last goodbye. This planet is a disruptor, he likes to shake things up and give you a ride you never imagined. Expect the unexpected, revolutionary and innovative - he, Uranus, pushed me to build my own website and get out there. I retrained, I learned and learned. I did a lot of exploring, imagine wearing an eye mask and feeling your way round the room until you find the right door for you - that was me.

Some of this was right under my nose, but as my teacher told me, it's your journey and you have to find your way to it... Thanks, dude, it only took me this long!! haha...

Everything happened to me for the best, Uranus turned my world upside down, inside out when he went into Taurus... but I always say it was for the best. I have changed my career and am on the journey to transform.

How can you turn this transformation into your power? Firstly you need to understand the energy you're working with and what area of your chart it is making you focus on. For me the theme of Mercury and Uranus are big players in my chart. This means, I was also dealing with those types of characters appearing in my life. Some of those individuals were lessons and experiences to help me grow, others were just passing through, saying and doing what they had to and like lightning, they went with a flash. This can also be seen in my solar arc chart to​o - another layer of the outward manifestation of planetary placements. I can go one and on, but to my point about this planet and my experience with it - ​you have to let go and embrace what comes through and go with the flow. This may be hard for some people to face.

​Uranus also rules Astrology, and my training in Astrology, Tarot and the different models within that has expanded my growth, by changing and enhancing my abilities. Neptune was also a big player in helping me with using my intuition and magnifying my insight.
